It is official. Jacob is no longer an infant. I took some photos just before midnight on December 30th to document his passing from infancy to toddlerhood. He is definitely toddling all around, but he still looks so little and innocent while he sleeps. Happy Birthday Little Man!

As the countdown continues to Jacob’s New Year’s Eve Birthday, I thought I would focus today on his tiny parts: fingers, toes, mouth, eyelashes. He was such a good model today and stayed extremely still for all the photos. I guess it helped that he was sleeping!
It was not hard getting Jacob to sleep tonight. He crawled out of my arms while rocking him in the rocking chair and promptly lied down, face down, on the floor. He had had enough and was ready for bed. I picked him up, placed him in his crib, and he went right to sleep….
