With collateral and marketing materials there are two ways to look at it: mass production for less cost, or small production with a higher end look for better impact but much higher cost. Because the market is so finicky right now, you might be better suited to pick your market and just go for it. If that means mass marketing, you will need to find qualified lists of engaged couples and then blanket the market. For mass marketing a good place to start is the bridal shows. They collect hundreds qualified leads every month. On the other side, if you can market yourself to be a diamond in the rough then you should definitely go with a more refined look and get your promos into just the right hands. You should try working a deal with some choice venues that you would like to work with. Many venues require that you shoot their first (sort of a catch 22) and on the negative side, many of them require that you pay to be on their vendor list (this I am not a supporter of.)
So, whichever route you wish to take here are some printers you may want to consider:
For mass production you cannot beat the pricing of Got Print or 4over.
For a higher end look use a local print house or for letterpress try Jill Velez or Kari Dyas.
