Beverly Hills Wedding Photographer Jen OSullivan bio picture

Welcome!

Congratulations on your engagement! Now that you have found your partner, picked a date, and hopefully nailed down your venue, it is time to hire your photographer. My name is Jen O’Sullivan, a boutique wedding photographer who specializes in portrait journalism. I love what I do. I am blessed. Beyond what I ever could have imagined! I have some of the best clients on the planet, the most supportive and loving husband, and the absolute cutest son ever! Check out his latest photo editorial on my Facebook profile. facebook.com/jenosullivan
Okay, so here is the boring stuff: I have been working in the commercial and event photography business throughout Southern California since 1998, and became a full time wedding photographer in 2004 after getting married to Tim, my High School sweetheart and Junior High crush. (Yes, we went to prom together.) I quickly left the commercial business behind after having such a hard time finding just the right photographer for my own wedding. I decided to try to change the way Wedding Photography is offered to brides and grooms. I have an open door, open book policy which no other photographer offers to my knowledge. You will become my friends, and I love that! I will photograph your first baby photos, just because I want to gift that to you. You will become part of my “family.” As a boutique wedding photographer, I want you to get all the attention you deserve. Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life and I am blessed to be a part of it. I want you to love your day over and over again. My desire is to give you peace of mind knowing you have chosen the right person; someone you can trust to capture your memories that will last a lifetime. These are exciting times - cherish every moment, and don’t forget to live! laugh! love!

MARKETING: Charity

Charity Auction Item

As a business owner it is important to give back to your community for several reasons. Number one should first and foremost be just to give back. In this hard and harsh economy many people may think how can I give back when I hardly have any? Well, as a photographer your time and talent is all it will cost you and those on the receiving end truly understand the generosity of it. Second, it gets your name out there. When you do pro bono work, you always want to make sure proper credit is given in the byline of any published photo. If not for publication, you will want to get your name in the event program as the donating photographer. Three types of charities I work with are non-profit organizations to help update their marketing materials, charity auction events where I give an auction item such as a free studio session, and actual charity events where I am the event photographer. Above is a sample of one of my auction items that I have framed for the event.
