Beverly Hills Wedding Photographer Jen OSullivan bio picture

Welcome!

Congratulations on your engagement! Now that you have found your partner, picked a date, and hopefully nailed down your venue, it is time to hire your photographer. My name is Jen O’Sullivan, a boutique wedding photographer who specializes in portrait journalism. I love what I do. I am blessed. Beyond what I ever could have imagined! I have some of the best clients on the planet, the most supportive and loving husband, and the absolute cutest son ever! Check out his latest photo editorial on my Facebook profile. facebook.com/jenosullivan
Okay, so here is the boring stuff: I have been working in the commercial and event photography business throughout Southern California since 1998, and became a full time wedding photographer in 2004 after getting married to Tim, my High School sweetheart and Junior High crush. (Yes, we went to prom together.) I quickly left the commercial business behind after having such a hard time finding just the right photographer for my own wedding. I decided to try to change the way Wedding Photography is offered to brides and grooms. I have an open door, open book policy which no other photographer offers to my knowledge. You will become my friends, and I love that! I will photograph your first baby photos, just because I want to gift that to you. You will become part of my “family.” As a boutique wedding photographer, I want you to get all the attention you deserve. Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life and I am blessed to be a part of it. I want you to love your day over and over again. My desire is to give you peace of mind knowing you have chosen the right person; someone you can trust to capture your memories that will last a lifetime. These are exciting times - cherish every moment, and don’t forget to live! laugh! love!
~ Jen O’Sullivan, Owner & Principal Photographer

Sometimes we need a little Peace

There is nothing more peaceful than a two year old at rest. Especially a 2 year old boy. There is a lot to be learned from simply watching a child sleep. Generally speaking I am an upbeat positive person who honestly likes to help people. I get a ton of support from my family and...

Photo Tip: Photographing Toddlers

I am blessed to have a toddler who is very normal: he won’t sit still for photos. How to get them to stay put, now that is the question. Toddlers, while not well versed in their speaking skills are, in fact, quite able to understand what we say. A recent photo I took of Jacob...

Jacob’s Sunday Best

Little Man, Jacob is a brave kid. He climbs up the craziest things and oddly seems to have perfect balance so far. I once caught him standing on his bedroom window sill. My heart just about fell onto the floor! When on the playground, he is very aware of the drop distance and always seems...

Jacob in August

This is my little guy, Jacob. A full 19 months old. I had to perch him on a table to keep him still  for two seconds. It is the only time he will stay still: place him somewhere he knows he is not supposed to be. It was literally two quick photos before he figured...

Happy Mom’s Day

This is my second Mother’s Day and I decided to do nothing! A day off for me. Hmmm, what to do, what to do. Enjoy your day with your mom and if you’re a mom, take the day off! Here are some photos I took yesterday. The flowers were a mother’s day gift from two...

Curious Little Man

Okay, so I may be just a wee bit biased but my Little Man Jake is so stinkin’ cute! We have been calling him Mr. Independent because, pretty much he likes to roam around on his own. He is the most curious little bugger. I took these shots of him as he was climbing all...

Jacob’s First Salon Haircut

Jacob got his first salon haircut by Nikole at Hairizons. Jacob was a prince and Nikole did a perfect job. He loved every second; up on his pedestal. So sweet!

Jacob: ONE AT LAST!

We did it! We made it through Jacob’s first birthday. What a day! We had 41 guests at the event so it really worked out well that we were able to do it at our clubhouse. I do not think we could have fit everyone in our place. The kids seemed to have the best...
