I had the pleasure and honor of being this year’s featured photographer at A Soolip Wedding. This show was like eye candy for a photographer. Me and my team (Becca Rillo, Regina Doeppel, and Mieke Snepvangers) were in perfect form. Thank you to Wanda Wen for putting on such a joyous and beautiful event. Thank you to the ladies at Archive Vintage Rentals and Krista Jon Couture Designs for doing such an amazing job with my space. I love you all! Such wonderful talent at this event. Below is an image of my space with my new “hanging photo wall” with images on both sides. Great idea for your wedding to do your engagement photos on display as people come in. Also, see my new idea for favors. Archive Vintage has these great birch tree cupcake stands. I though it would be fun to make them photo favor stands from your engagement photos. How fun! A show at the Americana in Glendale. POP The Bridal Event was a new show this year and Nicole Hirsty of Cobalt Events knocked it out of the park. Beautiful, elegent, simple, and packed with guests. The only way to have a show. I was the featured show photographer for the event and had a blast. See below for a sample of my shots from the show. As my two year old JT says, “Nummy! Yay!” when he sees Melinda’s cupcakes of CAKEgoodness. She is the best I have had in a long time and I find myself jonesing for them often! I just ordered 18 cupcakes for the holidays so I can gift them to my family members. The best part about them: there is a little surprise in the middle of each one. Oh, and don’t forget her crazy good icing. Normally I am not a huge icing fan, but I always find myself gobbling up the entire thing, icing included. Man, I want one now! Here are some of her latest creations for the holidays. Super cute!
