The day started out hotter than usual for a wedding at the end of September. I met my assistants and we hauled all our equipment into the museum with plenty of time to take a private look around. We set up my portrait studio in the whale room complete with whale moaning sounds. So surreal. Earth and April met for the first time on their wedding day in front of the museum. The look on his face was priceless. Pure and utter wonderment with the trill of knowing this would soon be his wife. They married directly in front of two dinosaurs who had the best seats in the house. I can’t wait to show you their cake, but need to wait until it airs on TLC. It was soooo phenomenal and was done by my friend and extremely talented cake artist, Kimberly Bailey of the Butter End Cakery.
