My name is Jen O’Sullivan and I am a wedding photographer based in Beverly Hills. People often ask me why I am a wedding photographer. I have realized that my reason for why I do anything I do comes down to one thing: The Power of Possibility. Growing up I was always told, “You can do anything as long as you put your mind to it and work hard.” I truly believed that if I wanted to be a doctor I could and equally if I wanted to be a trash collector I could. All my parents wanted was that I was happy in whatever life brought me. Looking back I see how blessed I was as a child. For me, your wedding day encompasses everything I was brought up to believe in: POSSIBILITY. I believe that people who are in love and are at the beginning of their life together are at the beginning of possibility. You are inspired and overjoyed with that possibility. I understand what an important time in your life this is and every time I have the privilege to work with a new bride and groom, I am able to relive that feeling with every new vow I hear, and every first kiss I see. I love it! I love love. I love my life and the opportunity to be a part of the beginning of possibility over and over again.

So, with that said, congratulations on your engagement! Now that you have found your partner, picked a date, and hopefully nailed down your venue, it is time to hire your photographer. I am boutique wedding photographer who specializes in portrait journalism; not just what you see on every other wedding photography site, but something a bit different. Why different? I am obsessed with lighting. 90% of my work is unretouched. I get it right in camera the first time. Classic. Clean. Timeless. That’s technically what I do. I also love what I do in every other aspect photography. I am blessed. Blessed beyond what I ever could have imagined! The Studio at Beverly Hills

Okay, so here is some insight into my background: A graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, I have been working in the commercial and event photography business throughout Southern California since 1998, and became a full time wedding photographer in 2004 after getting married to Tim, my High School sweetheart and Junior High crush. (Yes, we went to prom together.) I quickly left the commercial business behind after having such a hard time finding just the right photographer for my own wedding. I decided to try to change the way Wedding Photography is offered to brides and grooms. I have an open door, open book policy so you know exactly what you are getting. You will become my friends, and I love that! I will photograph your first baby photos, just because I want to gift that to you. You will become part of my “family.” As a boutique wedding photographer, I want you to get all the attention you deserve. Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life and I am blessed to be a part of it. I want you to love your day over and over again. My desire is to give you peace of mind knowing you have chosen the right person; someone you can trust to capture your memories that will last a lifetime.
